Enhancing Educational Opportunities for Students by Supporting Creative Options for Teachers
The Excellence in Education Foundation (EEF) was established in 1993 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. It is an entity separate from the Charleston Unit School District System and is managed by a 12 member Board of Directors. Consolidated Communications has been our strongest financial supporter, partnering with the EEF since its inception.
To fulfill our objectives for students and teachers, the EEF award grants each spring to programs and projects that can not be implemented through regular school funding. Over the past 20 years, the EEF has awarded more than $450,000 to support the enrichment of creative /supportive classroom teaching environments and enhancement of educational opportunities for our children.
